Our vintage camper

We have a 1973 Steury pop up camper and I have to say she is my prize possession. And yet, we haven’t taken her anywhere, not once. As usual, it’s just a lack of money. I am posting here to remind myself how much I love Little Green and that maybe with my second home job I can start saving to get her on the road.
Little Green needs a lift arm fixed and some canvas tape and that’s about it…not too bad there. But the hard part is getting the hitch installed on the van. She also needs a cover to keep her green self nice and pretty.
My goal: To get her lift arm fixed this fall. Purchase a cover and tape first then start saving up for a hitch on the van.
I love you Little Green…we’ll get you on the road soon I hope!

  1. The springs are probably not working so well anymore. Ours has to be manually lifted too…the springs kick in once you get it started but it is still so hard to pop up!
